I've been dealing with passwords every day at home, at work, in my BlackBerry. I've been using so many service online that it's become very unlikely to keep track of all passwords. I'm now using more than 20 web sites that need authentication. Aside from that I also keep personal and sensitive info on my PC and i need to protect my operating system with a password and also enable other user account since recently we share one computer with my husband.

It is known to all that password is the very vital access to computer. If you forget about it, you can recover it by deleting SAM files. Well, the password of Windows XP is put in the SAM file of Windows/System32/Config. SAM file is the account password database file. When we log on the system, the system will proofread automatically with the SAM file in the Config. You can not log on until your password and user's name are found the same as that of SAM file. If not, you are not able to log. That is to say, we can restore it by deleting SAM files.

Another way to reset windows password is like this : Windows has a built in feature that creates a floppy diskette that helps you reset your password in case you don't remember it. This feature is accessible from Control Panel in the User Accounts applet. To make a password reset disk, click on the user account and click'prevent a forgotten password'. You will need one blank formatted floppy disk to complete the task. Keep the floppy disk in a safe place for use in case of a forgotten password.

When entering the password reset disk into Windows XP, press the key mix'Ctrl + Alt + Del', there will pop up a window of'Windows Security', click'Change Password', in this window, you can backup the existing user password, then click the'Backup' and activate'Forgotten Password Wizard' and set up password reset disk by following the clues.

If you log on with the wrong password in the Windows XP, there will pop up a box of'Login Failed'. And if you cannot remember your own password, you can click'Reset' to start the password reset wizard and reset the new password by the password reset disk.

However, not everybody  ; is using Windows XP. Other Windows systems have different ways to recover Windows admin password. If all of the above doesn't work for you, it is strongly recommended to download a Windows Admin Password Resetter. The best one can be downloaded here and is named Password Resetter.
